Sport fishing uses many techniques other than the usual rod. Sport fishermen may use spears for spear sport fishing, which takes more talent, or netting or a technique called bow sport fishing. This uses a cross bow to catch fish. In spear sport fishing the angle are killed now and cannot be turned back into the water.
